Esmée Denters has jumped on the ride of her life becoming the newest star to the pop industry that is set for limitless success. It all started in Oosterbeek, The Netherlands where Esmée used her sister’s web cam to record her singing. Esmée Denters then achieved the impossible and has made music industry history.
Just from her YouTube posting, Esmée gained such an online following that at one point, the traffic from her YouTube fans literally caused the entire global website to crash! Through gaining such a loyal fan base through her YouTube page she has accomplished the unbelievable figure of over 130 million views, putting Esmée’s YouTube channel in the Top-25 most viewed in YouTube history. She has proved that her natural, amazing soulful talent and public appeal attracts millions worldwide and is one of the #1 most subscribed musicians on the infamous site. So impressed by the story of Esmée Denters she was then invited by Oprah Winfery to be on her show as part of an episode “spotlighting YouTube sensations”.
The internet phenomenon has had press coverage spanning from the cover of Billboard, to features in Rolling Stone, Blender, YRB and Spin, while continuing her online domination and digital appeal. However, if that wasn’t enough for Miss Denters, during her digital takeover she was personally invited to meet the pop superstar Justin Timberlake, who was so amazed with what he had been watching that Esmée found herself singing for him.
As time moved on their relationship blossomed and Esmée then became the protégé of Timberlake, being the first signing to his newly established record label Tennman Records (Timberlake’s joint venture with Interscope Records). With now her record deal in the bag Esmée has been working non-stop co-writing many of the songs on her album and working closely with first class producers Polow Da Don, Stargate, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and Toby Gad, not forgetting Justin Timberlake coproducing the album. Esmée has also had the leasure of opening for the superstar Justin Timberlake for 11 sold-out concerts on Justin’s FutureSexLoveShow tour through Europe and also supported Enrique Iglesias and Ne-Yo through their 2009 European tours.
Putting one digital teen superstar and a pop veteran in a studio will see Esmée’s debut album bringing us the Pop RnB that has taken over our radios stations and usic channels, but the creativity and Cinderella story not to be forgotten. Her album is due to be released in the later part 2009, worldwide.
